Took this shot earlier at Basil Griffith Park.  I saw the way everything was peering over the plane while I was pulling in so figured I’d take a quick photo.  Met a really cool guy while I was there too.  He saw me taking the photo and asked “You into planes”?  Turns out he flew a very similar model to the one in the photo back in the 70’s.  He told me he was 60 years old, and that if he could ever go back he’d do anything to be the pilot of a fighter jet.  ”There’s something about being that high up, under all that pressure, and controlling such a huge machine that people think is much more complicated than what it actually is”.  Pretty cool guy over all; it’s just crazy how many awesome people there are out in the world, and how many of them you’ll never get to meet.
